About Sunrise Total Care
A Local Team Who Care About Getting It Right
We are a home care team based in Bedfordshire, helping people stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes. We keep things personal, we keep families informed and we take time to get the details right.

Why Sunrise Total Care Began
Sunrise Total Care was set up by [FOUNDER NAME] with a simple aim: to give people in our area the kind of care at home we would want for our own families.
Too often, families told us they felt rushed, unsure who would turn up or left waiting for answers. We wanted to do it differently. That means fewer, familiar carers, visits that are long enough to do things properly and a team that picks up the phone.
We are still a local business. The people who plan your care are the people you can speak to.
What We Stand For
Dignity.
We protect privacy, ask before we help and never talk over the person we are supporting.
Respect.
Your home, your routines and your choices come first. We fit around you, not the other way round.
Independence.
We help with what is needed and encourage people to keep doing what they can for themselves.
Reliability.
We turn up when we say we will, and if something changes, we tell you.
How We Work With You
Care planned around the person. Before care begins, we visit to learn about routines, likes, dislikes, health needs and what matters most. This becomes a written care plan you can read and question.
The same faces where possible. We build a small team around each person, so trust grows and nothing needs explaining twice.
Families kept in the loop. With permission, we share updates with the people who matter, and you always know who to call.
Reviews as needs change. Care plans are reviewed regularly and sooner if something changes, such as a hospital stay.
Trained, Checked and Supported
- Enhanced DBS check and references before their first visit
- Induction training, including shadowing an experienced carer
- The Care Certificate for those new to care
- Training in moving and handling, safeguarding, medication support and infection control
- Regular supervision, spot checks and refresher training
We also carry the insurance a regulated care provider needs and follow clear policies on safeguarding, medication and confidentiality.
